Cyber risk · Denmark / ACI Risk Measure
From one server to a European cloud platform.
ACI Risk Measure, in Denmark, quantifies cyber risk for financial and large organisations across Europe.
The problem
The application ran on a single Hetzner server, with no separate environments and no room to grow.
What we did
- Containerised the application and broke it into microservices.
- Moved it to Scaleway, with its own network and Kubernetes clusters for development and production.
- Connected all the networks with NetBird, with access limited by role.
- Supported their compliance work for running in the EU.
What changed
- No single server to fail: the application runs on managed Kubernetes.
- Development and production are kept apart.
- Everything is reachable over one private network, and people only reach what their role allows.
- An EU-hosted setup supports their compliance needs.
